Z-Image Product Photography Test: Glass, Metal and Fabric

Real Z-Image product outputs show how material-specific lighting improves glass, metal, fabric, packaging, shadows, and commercial composition.

Product prompts improve when they explain how the surface interacts with light. This review uses original Z-Image outputs for translucent glass, brushed metal, woven clothing, blank skincare packaging, and food texture.

Glass: reveal the edge

Transparency alone is ambiguous. State wall thickness, edge light, caustics, background tone, and whether the container is blank. Check for impossible refraction and duplicate caps.

Metal: design the reflection

Large soft sources and named finishes—brushed, polished, anodized—give the model a clearer target. Inspect hotspots, engraved-like hallucinations, and broken watch geometry.

Fabric: ask for weave and drape

Describe silk sheen, wool texture, cotton matte finish, or technical knit. Lighting should reveal folds without turning fabric into plastic.

The complete white-background, lifestyle, advertising, skincare, and food tests are documented on the AI product photography page.
